UMixer Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how the UMixer iOS application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your data when you use our services to remix and manage your YouTube playlists.
The App is designed as a locally-processed utility client. All core operations are executed directly on your Apple iOS device. We do not use external application servers to store, process, or track your data.
1. Information We Collect and Access
The App uses Google OAuth authorization to interact directly with your Google Account data. We only request and access data that is absolutely necessary to fulfill the App's core functionality (viewing, selecting, and remixing your YouTube playlists).
2. How We Use Your Information (Google Limited Use Policy Compliance)
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres strictly to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
- Core Functionality Only: We use your YouTube playlist data exclusively to display your personal playlists, look up specified public channel playlists, and programmatically create remixed playlists on your behalf within your personal YouTube account.
- No Commercial Exploitation: Your YouTube data is never used for serving advertisements, performing market analytics, tracking user behavior across other apps, or generating commercial revenue profiles.
- No Data Transfers: We do not transfer, sell, lease, or distribute any user data or Google API data to third-party advertising platforms, data brokers, or external servers.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Device Information and Local Storage: The App discloses that the API Client stores, accesses, or collects (or allows authorized third-party platform providers to do so) information directly or indirectly on or from users’ devices, including by placing, accessing, or recognizing cookies or similar technology on users' devices or browsers. This operational interaction is strictly limited to your explicit device communications with Google Identity Services (for secure account authentication) and Apple StoreKit/AppAttest frameworks (for subscription validation and hardware integrity verification). The App does not share data with, nor allow access to, any other third parties, advertising networks, or external analytics systems.
- Application State Persistence: App configurations, lifetime mix counts, and operational rate-limit tracking arrays are retained securely on your physical device within the hardware-encrypted iOS Keychain and isolated per Google User ID.
- Authentication Tokens: Secure OAuth 2.0 access credentials, refresh tokens, and authentication parameters provisioned via the Google Sign-In SDK are stored exclusively within the secure iOS Keychain.

4. Data Retention, Sign-Out, and Deletion
- To Delete Local Data Tapping the "Sign Out" button inside the app will instantly purge all active user session records, downloaded playlist metadata, and OAuth access tokens from the device's temporary memory. Alternatively, completely deleting the UMixer application from your iOS device will erase all associated local app caches and standard metadata files from your hardware, while secure usage validation registers remain safely bound to the device's persistent Keychain container to uphold active feature tier integrity.
- To Revoke Account Permissions: You can revoke UMixer’s access to your Google account at any time by disconnecting the app directly through the Google Security Connections Page (https://myaccount.google.com/connections?filters=3,4&hl=en). This instantly invalidates our secure tokens and completely blocks any future communication between this app and your account.
- Device Storage Lifespan: Local usage counters and transaction validation states reside in the iOS Keychain to enforce feature tier boundaries.
- Data Ephemerality, Refresh Frequencies, and Retention Limits (YouTube Policy III.E.4.a-g Compliance): All YouTube data, video details, playlist records, and channel metadata retrieved via YouTube API Services are processed strictly in real-time transient, volatile device memory (RAM) and are discarded instantly upon the conclusion of a playlist mixing session or when the application is closed. To ensure complete compliance with YouTube Developer Policy III.E.4.a-g, the App guarantees that it does not display or store statistics retrieved as Authorized or Non-Authorized Data for more than 30 days. Any locally stored session state markers or configuration pointers are automatically deleted or refreshed every time the user signs out or cycles the client, ensuring the lifecycle of retrieved API data remains less than 24 hours and well within the mandatory 30-calendar-day compliance ceiling.
5. Third-Party Services
The App incorporates frameworks provided by Google and Apple to facilitate base connectivity and core operations:
- Google Sign-In SDK / YouTube Data API: Utilized to verify identities and sync playlists securely with Google.
- Firebase App Check / Apple AppAttest: Utilized strictly for client attestation, ensuring that API actions originate from an authentic, un-tampered copy of the App on a physical device.
These frameworks communicate directly with their respective providers (Google and Apple) and are subject to their respective corporate privacy frameworks.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. Since no data is collected or retained on remote storage systems by the App, we do not store children's data.
7. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to maintain alignment with Google verification requirements or iOS operating system updates. Any adjustments will become active immediately upon publishing the updated text within the application marketplace interface or hosting site.
